Your Direction Might Change Along the Way

When I was a little girl, I wanted to become a doctor.

For a while, that was my dream. But as I got older, I started thinking about my family situation and how much it would cost to study medicine. At the time, it felt impossible, so I let that dream go.

Then I wanted to become a Chartered Accountant.

Not only that, I had many more dreams, but I failed in my career more than anyone can imagine

Again, I had a picture in my head of what my future would look like. But that direction changed too.

I started my bachelor’s degree thinking I would simply finish university and follow the path I had planned.

Life had other ideas.

I moved abroad. I started my bachelor’s journey again. I started working, learning about business, creating content, experimenting with ideas, and becoming curious about things I had never imagined myself doing before.

And when I look back now, I realise something:

Very little of my life has gone exactly according to plan.

The things I wanted as a child are different from what I want today. And what I want today might be completely different five years from now.

I used to think changing direction meant something had gone wrong.

Now I think it means I’m growing.

You experience more.
You meet different people.
You discover new opportunities.
You learn more about yourself.

And naturally, your dreams change with you.

So maybe you don’t need to have your entire life figured out.

Have a direction, Work hard, Stay curious,Take the next opportunity,And when life teaches you something new. don’t be afraid to change direction.

Your plan might change.

Your career might change.

Even your biggest dream might change.

That doesn’t mean you failed. It means you kept moving long enough to discover a different path.

I still don’t know exactly where mine will take me.

But I’m going to keep going.
